Those other things You wanna see

Something Something Something

Something something something something something something.

I'm hyper.

I don't know why. Well, I kind of do. I'm drinking a mountain dew. And I think I got some sort of actually decent sleep last night. Which, if you read my private blog probably later today or tomorrow, you'll understand why that's such a rare thing as of late (for those of you who can't access the private blog: I've been sleeping throughout the nights, but it's been really crappy sleep, and I've continually woken up feeling like I missed something).

I'm so full of energy right now.
I feel as though I want to go out and do something. But I have no idea what I want to do. Maybe go down to the lake and play with a Frisbee or a kite or something (I have just learned that the term "Frisbee" is a capitalized word. I did not realize it was so important before now). I'm really hoping i don't crash soon.

This week has been.... interesting. I say that a lot, don't I. Hm. This week has been...... stupefying. Yes, I think that's better. It's been a stupefying week. A few ups and downs, and now it's up again. Hopefully, for good.

This past weekend, Keeper and I went down to Racine with Anthea, Antek, and J., and took some engagement photos. It was wonderful! It wasn't too hot or too cold, too sunny or even rainy. It rained for about 10 minutes earlier in our day, but it was a beautiful day otherwise! And, there, I say "our day" because we didn't even head down to the place we were going to take pictures until about 2:30pm. We got down there around 3:15-ish, and spent a good three hours or so at the park. It was so much fun! Anthea and Antek took some really awesome (and beautiful) pictures! I hope to be posting some of them soon.

Sunday was the one-week mark of my lovely Savannah living with us, and I'm so happy to report that she's doing very well! She fits in with our family just fine. Her fur is getting softer, and she's purring almost all the time now! She absolutely LOVES Keeper. She follows him around a lot, and likes to cuddle up next to him. She's even taken to sleeping on his feet at night, much to his exasperation! She still doesn't quite get along with Pooh Bear or Bolo, but she and Opal have become more tolerable of each other, and Luna's often off in her own little fluffy world, so Savannah and Luna don't really interact much. It's a rather beautiful home and life Keeper and I have engulfed ourselves into.

Monday, we headed grudgingly back to work. Tuesday was a shorter day at work. Keeper and I took a half day and went with E. down to the Wisconsin State Fair. Keeper and I had a little bit of a hiccup between work and the Fair, but things turned out alright at the end of the day, I think. The fair was pretty fun. We all walked around the fairgrounds from around 3:30pm until about 7:30pm. First we wandered through the infomercial warehouse, where everyone was selling all sorts of knick-knacks. I ended up buying a pretty nice black leather belt. Then we walked around the fairgrounds, and ended up in the carnival area. Keeper even tried to win me a prize at one of the carnival games, but the game was a bit rigged of course. Keeper got pretty frustrated at it, because he got really close to winning several times, but after four games, we called it quits and went to find food. There was a stand in the fairgrounds called Billie's Baked Potatoes (or something like that), that had some really tasty baked potatoes! They had a few different options for toppings, but Keeper and I both got a potato that had salt&pepper, butter, sour cream, cheese, bacon bits, chives, and some cheesy broccoli on top! OH it was Delicious. After food, we wandered around to find something to drink. We tried to find anywhere that had mountain dew, but everything was, annoyingly, Coke products. We then tried to find some Mello Yellow, at least, but had a hard time finding any of that even! We finally just got a bottle of water to share. After that, our feet hurt, and we were all a little tired for the day. Or, at least, I was for sure. We then went to Walmart, and bought some things that we've been needing. Namely, Almond Joy creamer, sugar, socks, and a tent.

When we got home, we were pretty tired. We unpacked our walmart items, and headed into the bedroom, where it was Bedtime Storytime! Savannah joined us for the first half. It was really cute. ^_^

Yesterday, Keeper and I had work again, but we went in an hour late, so had to work an hour late. It wasn't so bad. I was pretty bored by the end of the day, so I started to play around with the colors and settings of our engagement photos. After work, we went to Kopp's for dinner, and a single scoop of Heath Bar custard, and then headed home. We were going to set up our tent last night, but instead we just sat next to each other and talked a little bit. After about an hour, I returned to messing with our pictures, and Keeper put a movie on. After I finally finished with all of my favorite pictures, we went through the folder of pictures together, agreeing on some that we liked, disagreeing on others. Then, we did something that I'm beginning to enjoy more and more. We began to read together. We weren't reading the same book, or reading aloud to each other. We were just sitting/laying by each other, reading our own books, together. I really don't think he knows how much I love to read, and how much I love that we've started doing this. I really hope we might be able to do it more often.  I really don't mind when we play video games together, or watch movies, or do whatever, but I certainly do enjoy reading together.

Today, we're working again. Tonight, I think we're probably going to go on a cleaning spree at home. We both have some ideas for some things we want to do, and stuff we want to get rid of. I think I might even dye my hair tonight. I'm pretty excited! I've also made some plans for Keeper's birthday on Saturday, and E. and I are really, REALLY looking forward to it! I think, even though this week didn't start off the greatest, it's going to end well.

And now......................... LUNCH! :D
